~ VISITORS looking to explore the local vineyards and farms have hundreds of options. I am a fan of Journeyman Distillery, located just 10 miles away in Three Oaks, MI which offers handcrafted, artisan spirits and simple, yet delicious fare in an fantastic setting. If you catch this place on the weekend, you may even have the pleasure of jamming to a local band. The Greenbush Brewery in Sawyer, MI has a great outdoor patio complete with bocce and horseshoe courts.

~ RESTAURANTS ABOUND. Some of my favorites include: Brewsters, a great Italian joint in New Buffalo. Brentwood Tavern at the Marina Grand for high-end American fare and Duneland Inn. The Stray Dog's rooftop patio is a great spot for the whole family.

~ OUR FAVORITE coffee shop is David's in New Buffalo. Find some of the best blueberry muffins and vegetarian sandwiches there.
